Malaise and the Infinite Silence

On Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 678.91 points. Obviously, President Bush, Secretary of Treasury Henry Paulson, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, Congress, and the international community have acted. With that stated, America’s attitude is irresponsible. Where is our anger? Where is our urgency?
