NEW RULE

Suicide is preferable.

On Monday, forty-five year-old Karthik Rajaram murder his wife, mother-in-law, and three sons. He then committed suicide. On Tuesday, sixteen-year-old Christopher Janney was charged with attempted murder. Via chlorine compression bombs, he attempted family eradication.

Janney and Rajaram’s motivations are irrelevant. Their strategy was unacceptable. Previously, I condemned murder. I advocated alteration and therapy. Tonight, I amend the aforesaid. With a caveat, murder is acceptable. If one must murder, murder the obvious.

Incessantly, suicide has been labeled “selfish.” This is crap. Suicide extinguishes one person. Homicide extinguishes friendships, relationships, dreams, hope, and talent. Suicide is not self-important. Mandated murder is self-important.
