Animals are important.
Last week, the SPCA raided the Almost Heaven Kennel. Subsequently, agents seized 800 abused animals, 56 injured animals, and 56 animal corpses.
Obviously, assault, murder, and rape are repugnant. However, animal crimes are equally egregious. They merit attention and conversation. Why? Pets are precious. While friendships and relationships evaporate, pets are invariable. Their compassion is constant. Their presence is unconditional. Human sadists warrant severe punishment. Animal sadists should also.

800 animals were not seized. The kennel owner signed over 156 animals to the PSPCA. They will be available for adoption next week.
