The World Awakens

On Wednesday morning, British (-5.18%), Chinese (-8.17%), French (-6.31%), German (-5.88%), and Japanese (-9.38%) exchanges plummeted. On Wednesday afternoon, the Federal Reserve, the European Central Bank, the Bank of England, the Bank of Canada, the Swedish Riksbank, and the Swiss National Bank sliced interest rates. Unfortunately, the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunged 189.01 points.

Amidst this, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated the obvious: “We may have to go back into session before the next Congress. We have some very harsh decisions to make and some of them can't wait until January. What we can't wait for is a stimulus package.”
