Nifong: You Cannot Apologize

Mike Nifong: “We all need to heal. It is my hope we can start this process today. I agree with state Attorney General there is no credible evidence that [the players] ... committed any of the crimes of which they were indicted.”

Nifong’s apology is despicable. Nifong fractured both a city and university. He ruined three lives. He does not warrant healing. He merits castration. No credible evidence existed? Why were the charges pursued? Why were incendiary statements made? Nifong is pathetic. For him, I possess no sympathy. He should shut up.
