NEW RULE

Investigations must investigate.

On March 30, 2006, Commissioner Bud Selig announced Major League Baseball’s steroid investigation. Subsequently, the inquiry has produced nothing. Yesterday, Selig requested Jason Giambi’s cooperation. However, Selig cannot compel presence. This investigation is insulting. From Mark McGwire to Barry Bonds, Selig silently endorsed steroids. Selig’s lone concern is himself. If he were serious, he would save baseball’s integrity. He would request a Congressional investigation. Unfortunately, Selig is a joke.
