Tanking Life

On Monday, Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson was suspended for eight contests. Assuming good behavior, said suspension will encompass six contests. Previously, Johnson served one hundred twenty days incarceration.

Johnson’s punishment is insufficient. Johnson’s reputation includes assault, firearms, and death. He warranted castigation. Pacman Jones and Johnson are delinquent brethren. They deserved identical reprimands.

Johnson is a thug. He embarrasses both his race and franchise. Johnson has never escaped the ghetto. His actions mimic career criminals, drug dealers, and gangsters. The lone difference is his helmet.
