Snyder’s Folly

On Sunday, the Washington Redskins hired Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Coach Jim Zorn. According to Zorn, his employment is surprising. “I was a bit taken back, if you will,” Zorn said. “I wasn't speechless, because my first words were: 'Certainly, I'd like to do that.' It was a bit shocking. After that I got my game face on and tried to get after it.”

On January 27, the Redskins fired Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams. I applauded Owner Daniel Snyder. Clearly, he did not desire a career assistant. On Saturday, Snyder hired a career assistant. Once again, he showcased his stupidity.
