Pakistan: Home of the Mostly Free

On Saturday, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf “ended” emergency rule. He also extended media restrictions. He did not reinstate the judiciary. Musharraf is ridiculous. He did not restore democracy. He merely restructured totalitarianism. Musharraf must resign. He is dangerous. Essentially, he is a dictator. Until his exodus, Pakistan will never progress.
