Bhutto Freed, Pakistan Remains Paralyzed

On Friday, Pakistan freed Benazir Bhutto. President Pervez Musharraf’s action was insufficient. Incarcerating Bhutto was deplorable. Imposing Emergency Rule was unacceptable. Pakistan must restore democracy. They must hold elections. Musharraf must resign. Bhutto is a beacon. She is a hopeful emblem. She does not warrant jail. She deserves Pakistan’s Presidency.
