On Thursday, the Anaheim Ducks retained goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere. Giguere signed a 4-year, $24 million contract. Giguere is the Ducks’ cornerstone. His retention was critical. I applaud the Ducks. They did not hesitate. They dismissed ego and cemented their foundation.
