NEW RULE

Offense is imperative.

On Sunday, the New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14. The Patriots starred Tom Brady, Laurence Maroney, Randy Moss, Dante Stallworth, and Wes Welker. The Giants showcased Eli Manning, Brandon Jacobs, Plaxico Burress, Steve Smith, and Amani Toomer. For those chiming defense wins champions, I must state the obvious… Manning’s name is self-explanatory. Burress is excellent. Smith was an exemplary rookie. Manning is not Brady. Toomer is not Moss. However, the Giants are consistent. They averaged 23.3 points per contest. If zero is your score, defense is worthless.
