Pakistan Punts

On Wednesday, Pakistan postponed their parliamentary elections. Their vote will now occur February 18. Pakistan’s decision is correct. Benazir Bhutto’s murder was traumatic. Pakistan should pause. They should investigate, mourn, and recover. With that stated, President Pervez Musharraf must act appropriately. He must not stifle democracy. He must not restore totalitarianism.
