White Sox Swap Garland

On Tuesday, the Chicago White Sox traded pitcher Jon Garland to the Los Angeles Angels. As reciprocation, the White Sox received shortstop Orlando Cabrera. This exchange is intriguing. Obviously, both franchises improve. However, Chicago is pitching deficient. Following Mark Buehrle, they have nobody. Trading Garland was unfathomable.
