Concerning the California wildfires, prosecutors rejected charges. Why? The arsonist is ten years old. The wildfires were a tragedy. They damaged property. They destroyed possessions. They devastated families. With that stated, the prosecutors are correct. A ten year old can comprehend fire. He can comprehend burning. He cannot comprehend obliteration. Obviously, I sympathize with the victims. However, justice must consider facts. Thankfully, these prosecutors did.
