Pedroia, Braun: Rookies of the Year

On Monday, Dustin Pedroia and Ryan Braun won American and National League Rookie of the Year. Pedroia’s triumph was warranted. Braun’s was not. Troy Tulowitzki was exemplary. He won. Defensively, he was superior. He deserved the award. Fortunately, Braun’s predecessors include Bake McBride and Jerome Walton.
