On Thursday, WABC rehired Don Imus. Presumably, Imus has not changed. Eventually, he will offend someone. With that stated, America should abstain. We should not analyze his broadcasts. We should not scrutinize his connotation. Imus was fired. He was embarrassed. Schadenfreude is distasteful. Imus’s occupation is talking. He should not examine every word. We should not make him.
