NEW RULE

Scheduling is viewership.

On October 21, Fox hosted a Republican debate. On Tuesday, MSNBC hosted a democratic debate. Anyone watch? If you did, you missed Boston Legal, Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, House, Sunday Night Football and Major League Baseball’s playoffs. Regret your decision?

Debates are important. Obviously, they overly frequent. However, debates illuminate differences. They clarify positions. They delineate our choices. If one watches. Interestingly, debates require viewers. No one watched Hillary flail. Why? House was torturing Foreman. This demanded our attention.

Debates are crucial. With that stated, Alan Shore, Gabrielle Solis, John Madden, and Josh Beckett trump Barack Obama, John Edwards, Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney. If Republicans and Democrats desire interest, they must prioritize airtime. How? Read TV Guide.
