On Tuesday, Jimmy Rollins won the National League Most Valuable Player Award. This season, Rollins batted .296 with 30 home runs and 94 runs batted in. Matt Holliday and Prince Fielder merited consideration. Given Philadelphia’s finish, Rollins’ triumph was deserved.
