As reciprocation, the Astros received outfielder Michael Bourn, pitcher Geoff Geary, and minor league third baseman Mike Costanzo. This maneuver is intriguing. Once, Lidge was untouchable. Since 2005, he has declined. His saves have descended. His blown saves and earned run average have ascended. The obvious question… will he recover?
