Suspensions must punish.

Allegedly, suspended crew chief Tony Eury attended the Lennox Tools 300. From a trailer, he provided advice. Upon hearing this, NASCAR CEO Brian France pledged reform. On Thursday, he relented. Suspended crew chiefs may attend races. However, they should attend silently. Suspended MLB and NFL player’s presence is not banned. With that stated, they cannot contribute. Crew chiefs should not contribute. Discipline must penalize. Otherwise, what is the point?
