Tonight, the Republicans debate… Potential winners include: (1) Fred Dalton Thompson, (2) a former Tennessee Senator, (3) Law & Order’s DA, (4) a former lobbyist, (5) the “Days of Thunder” commissioner

During their campaign (aka the Republican’s implosion), Democrats pledged honest government. Nothing screams integrity louder than Dollar Bill Jefferson’s sixteen-count indictment.

Finally, I tip the ol’ ball cap (which I do not wear) to NASCAR Chairman Bill France Jr. and Senator Craig Thompson (R-WY). They never interacted. With that stated, both admirably represented their constituencies.
