DEI’s Circus Continues

During the Dodge Avenger 500, Dale Earnhardt utilized an illegal part. On Tuesday, NASCAR punished both driver and team. Earnhardt was penalized one hundred driver points. Teresa Earnhardt was penalized one hundred owner points. Crew Chief Tony Eury Jr. was fined $100,000 and suspended six weeks. As previously stated, Earnhardt’s season is irrelevant. Following the divergence and departure, this was merely another distraction.
