Adopt and adore.
On Wednesday, Kelly Layne Lau, Caren Ramirez, and Michael Schumacher were charged with child abuse, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and torture. Allegedly, they shackled and starved a seventeen-year-old.
If abuse is your intent, why adopt a child? Why not adopt a doll? One can abuse a doll. However, a doll cannot cry. A doll cannot scream. A doll cannot suffer. Simply stated, one’s insecurity and selfishness are irrelevant.
For myself, abuse is incomprehensible. In their formative period, animals and children love unconditionally. How could someone exploit and ruin this?
