In December, Venezuelans rejected President Hugo Chavez. On Wednesday, Chavez retorted. He ignored his citizenry. He asserted socialist “reforms.” Chavez’s actions are scary. They underscore the obvious. Chavez may feign democracy. However, Venezuela is a captive country.
