Egypt: Iran Must Relent

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak: “Iran should not present on a silver platter the justifications and the pretexts for those who want to drag the region down a dangerous slope. Iran owes the international community transparency and flexibility. The Gulf is extremely worried and the Middle East is watching the standoff.”

Iran suspended enrichment for 2 years, signed the Additional protocol and implemented it, has offered to suspend industrial scale enrichment for another 2 years, and has offered to place additional voluntary limits on its nuclear program that go beyond its legal obligations -- all ignored by the US which keeps raising the goalposts.

Egypt flatly refuses to sign the Additional protocol, and was also caught cheating on its nuclear program.

So, who is tempting whom?
