Beijing 2008: Olympics Control Center

Basketball (Women’s): On Monday, the United States defeated China 108-63. Clearly, the Americans are unequaled.

Boxing: In his debut, Raynell Williams was impressive.

Handball (Women’s): With one second remaining, Russia scored. They tied Brazil 28-28. I love this sport. Basketball and soccer united.

Swimming: In the women’s two hundred meter freestyle, Federica Pellegrini set the world record. Will she redeem herself?

Tennis: Roger Federer advanced. Yet, he appeared apathetic.

Coverage: President Bush’s interview was excellent. Bob Costas was exemplary. He asked the relevant questions. He was not judgmental.
