Beijing 2008: Olympics Control Center

Gymnastics (Women’s): The United States struggled. However, they appear unfazed. Shawn Johnson and Nastia Lukin were exemplary. If they perform, America can win.

Swimming: Natalie Coughlin satisfactory. Kristy Coventry was superior. Given her world record, she should garner gold. This afternoon, the United States men’s second squad set a record. Despite this, France’s relay set will compete. Finally, America won the two hundred meter freestyle. However, Michael Phelps was third. Peter Vanderkaay was the victor.
