Department of Compassion

On Friday, ten-year-old Jayci Yaeger died. Prior to her death, Jason Yeager, Jayci’s incarcerated father, visited her. I applaud Nebraska Department of Corrections. Their actions were both sensible and sensitive. Rules are necessary. However, humanity is never optional.
