Provocative is effective.

On Friday, Golf Magazine fired Vice President and Editor Dave Seanor. Their decision was incorrect. Obviously, Golf Magazine’s cover was confrontational. However, Seanor’s imagery was appropriate. America needs a casual racism discussion. We need an overreaction discussion. Firing Seanor solves nothing.

Obviously, Kelly Tilghman’s comments were unintentional. They merit minimalism. They also warrant discussion. A discussion this cover should have spurred. Unfortunately, hatred and ignorance prevailed. Instead of a discussion, Seanor was sacrificed.
