Merrill Their Example

On Monday, Merrill Lynch CEO Stan O’Neal retired. He will not receive an annual bonus or severance package. I applaud Merrill Lynch. Executives do not deserve enormous bonuses. Especially, inferior executives. Inferior waitresses do not receive tips. Inferior secretaries do not receive promotions. Executives are employed people. Upon their exodus, they should not receive millions for nothing. They should simply exit. Merrill Lynch realized this. Competing companies should also.
