On Thursday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke predicted an economic slowdown. He did not predict a recession. With Christmas impending, Bernanke’s assessment is awful. With that stated, recovery is possible. Optimism is present. Thus, the media should not spin. The United States economy is down. The United States economy is not dead.
