Calgary Addresses Quandary

On Monday, the Calgary Flames retained goalie Miikka Kiprusoff. Kiprusoff signed a 6-year, $35 million contract. The Flames status is unalterable. Their choice is annual. Either retain or wholly rebuild. Sans Kiprusoff, the Flames could not win. They accepted this. They dismissed ego and secured their future. I applaud them.
