Dale & Tony: A Future Together

On Tuesday, Tony Eury Jr. joined Hendrick Motorsports. He signed a multi-year contract. “Tony Jr. and Dale have a successful history working together,” said Owner Rick Hendrick. “They have trust in each other, which is the biggest part of the relationship between driver and crew chief.”

Hendrick’s comment is ironic. In 2005, Earnhardt and Eury abhorred each other. Eventually, they realized the obvious. They cannot win independently.
