On Tuesday, Bill Davis Racing released Jeremy Mayfield. This season, Mayfield has accrued only eight starts. Mayfield’s failure is surprising. Seemingly, Mayfield possesses talent. Unfortunately, his statistics have never equaled expectations. Obvious question, is his career finished?
