President Jimmy Carter: “All efforts of the international community should be to reconcile the two [Fatah and Hamas], but there's no effort from the outside to bring the two together. That action was criminal. The United States and Israel decided to punish all the people in Palestine and did everything they could to deter a compromise between Hamas and Fatah.”

Former President Carter is an ass. We should reconcile Fatah and Hamas? Fatah desires peace. Hamas covets Israel’s destruction. Isolating Hamas is beneficial. We were criminal? No President Carter. Cuddling terrorists is immoral. We are punishing Palestine? Palestine does not exist. Given your thinking, a two state solution is impossible.
