Military Leadership

Despite a promised veto, both the Senate and House have passed timetable bills. The legislation binds Iraq and Afghanistan war funding with troop withdrawal. Troop extraction would begin March 31, 2008.

The President is commander in chief. Congress determines America’s spending. They bankroll defense. They cannot assign or revoke soldiers. Speaker Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Reid, Senate and Congressional Democrats… fund the wars and shut up!
