Spectacular Ensemble Seizes Crown

Upon any given day, any given squad can win. This maxim is ridiculous. When superior ensembles crave victory, circumstances and opposition are irrelevant.

On Monday, the North Carolina Tar Heels defeated the Michigan State Spartans 89-72. With their victory, the Tar Heels garnered their fifth national championship. Wayne Ellington, Danny Green, Tyler Hansbrough, and Ty Lawson scored their presumed title.

In the NCAA Tournament, North Carolina was spectacular. They scored 87.8 points per contest. They surrendered 67.7 points per contest. Michigan State was an emotional preference. They were not estimable opposition. North Carolina’s superior ensemble craved victory.
