Padraig Harrington was spectacular.

On Tuesday, Harrington garnered PGA Player of the Year. Tiger Woods’ absence is irrelevant. Harrington won the British Open. He won the PGA Championship. Greatness appraises major championships. Greatness ignores health hypotheticals

Last year, I proposed the Tiger Woods Award. I reaffirm my opinion. Woods is exemplary. However, Harrington’s campaign was superb. He warranted this reward.
