Satellites Supplant Lauren, Heidi

Acquaintances. Associates. Satellites. Supporters. Their categorizations are miscellaneous. Their characteristics are unmistakable. They are not the principals. They are not superstars. However, they amplify the conversation. They intensify the experience.

Last week, Lauren confronted Stephanie. Their conversation was casual. Stephanie admitted her betrayal. Lauren ignored her disloyalty. Subsequently, Brody, Doug, Frankie, Lauren, Stephanie, and Whitney attended a barbecue. Brody and Doug exploded. Seriously? Granted, Stephanie is untrustworthy. Unfortunately, Brody and Doug are also. They should shut up.

Simultaneously, Heidi’s mother visited. She endured multiple lunches. With Spencer, she argued. With Heidi, she cried. Throughout each emotion, her premise was precise. Heidi and Spencer are dysfunctional. They should separate. I completely concur.

On Monday, Heidi and Spencer’s conflict continued. Heidi wrote Lauren. She expressed remorse. She requested reconciliation. Upon hearing this, Spencer bristled. He excoriated Holly and Lauren. I could respond. I could scorch him. Instead, I will quote Lauren. What if Heidi and Spencer never met?
