Zai jian Beijing

On Sunday, the 2008 Olympics concluded. Predictably, the closing ceremonies were rapid. Director Zhang Yimou was constricted. He was regimented. Despite this, Yimou’s concept was excellent. His aesthetics were stellar. His transition was superb. Perfectly, Beijing and London intertwined.

Concerning the competition, these are my memories. Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps owned the conversation. Kirsty Coventry, Nastia Liukin, and Libby Trickett were impressive. United States’ basketball and volleyball were magnificent. Chinese gymnastics was marvelous.
