Last week, Congress addressed slavery. They apologized. They cannot alter attitudes. They cannot discuss discrimination. They can apologize. Should we applaud their ignorance and patronization?
Slavery was an abomination. However, America is suffering. Financial crisis. Mortgage crisis. Increased expenses. Congress can solve these. On irreparable crap, they should not waste sessions.
