MEND: No One Dies on Christmas

On Saturday, the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) announced a Christmas ceasefire. For twenty-four hours, they will not kidnap or murder. MEND’s decision is fine. However, a permanent ceasefire is the objective.
