Running Backs Less Touted

On Friday, the Oakland Raiders signed Dominic Rhodes to a 2-year, $7.5 million contract. Despite his Super Bowl performance, Rhodes accepted secondary status. Instead of shadowing Joseph Addai, Rhodes will now spell LaMont Jordan.

Subsequently, the New York Giants acquired Reuben Droughns. As reciprocation, the Cleveland Browns received Tim Carter. Droughns has logged two lackluster campaigns. To replace Tiki Barber, Droughns must improve dramatically.

Finally, T.J. Duckett signed a one-year contract. The Detroit Lions choose another first round failure. Thankfully, they did not draft this one.
